A FASSI F905 TECHNO WITH LOW BASE MOUNTING FOR TALLERES Y GRÚAS GARCÍA

The performance of a knuckle boom crane depends not only on the chosen model. The integration between the chassis, the crane, and the body is a key aspect for achieving maximum load capacity, stability, and work efficiency.

 

With this in mind, Transgrúas has delivered a new unit to Talleres y Grúas García, an Alicante-based company with over 60 years of experience in the lifting sector. The unit consists of a Fassi F905R.2 Techno articulated crane with a jib, mounted on a 4-axle rigid MAN chassis, also supplied by Transgrúas as part of its policy of offering complete solutions and reducing delivery times.

 

 

Each project requires a specific study to adapt the unit to the client's application. In this case, Transgrúas' technicians opted for a low-base mounting, integrating the crane below the outrigger housing.

 

This configuration reduces the overall height of the unit, facilitating compliance with traffic regulations even with the jib installed, and lowers the center of gravity, improving stability during lifting operations.

 

The assembly is completed with a fixed body measuring 5.90 x 2.50 x 0.70 meters, equipped with a 70 cm rear hydraulic extension, especially useful for loading containers, directly operable from the crane's remote control to expedite loading and unloading maneuvers.
