INTRODUCING THE JCX80: THE ELECTRIC REVOLUTION IN TRACKED TELESCOPIC CRANES
The JCX80 reaches a peak height of 26.5 meters and a maximum radius of 17.3 meters.
The Italian firm Jekko has taken a decisive step in the evolution of lifting equipment with the launch of the JCX80, a tracked telescopic crane that redefines industry standards by combining extreme mobility, power, and sustainability in a single machine.
With a lifting capacity of 8 tons and equipped with a 3-ton articulated hydraulic jib, the JCX80 stands out as the first 100% electric machine in its class, operating on high-power 400V lithium batteries. This energy solution not only guarantees zero emissions but also incorporates an innovative energy recovery system in the winch and slewing motor, maximizing autonomy and operational efficiency.
Versatility is another of its key strengths. The JCX80 can operate in three configurations—standard, tower, and obstacle-crossing—eliminating the need for outriggers thanks to its variable-tilt turret and zero rear turning radius. This feature makes it the ideal solution for confined spaces and complex urban environments.
Jekko has integrated cutting-edge technology with AI-powered perimeter cameras for anti-collision safety systems, while the 6.8-inch touchscreen remote control allows for easy crane operation, displaying real-time information. Autonomous jib dismantling via remote control is another practical innovation that streamlines on-site operations.
The JCX80 reaches a peak height of 26.5 meters and a maximum turning radius of 17.3 meters, establishing itself as a tool that combines the capabilities of a tower crane and a crawler crane in a single self-propelled unit. This innovative solution defines the future of sustainable lifting.
