NEW FASSI TECHNO DELIVERY: AN F1250R IN MALLORCA

A new Techno crane hits the streets: we have delivered a Fassi F1250R Techno knuckle boom crane to Metalúrgicas Martínez e Hijos, S.L., at their facilities in Mallorca. The delivery was attended by the commercial director of Transgruas, an after-sales technician, and representatives from Carrocerías Francisco—Transgruas’s local partner in the region.

 

 

The F1250 is part of the Techno range, Fassi’s line of heavy-duty cranes. Its booms and telescopic extensions feature the "X-Design" structural layout—a decagonal cross-section design—while the FX990 control unit (equipped with a touchscreen) and the FSC Techno system ensure stability, safety, and smooth operation during every maneuver. The FSC Techno system—an evolution of the previous FSC-H and FSC-SII versions—also allows the stabilizers to be operated via the radio remote control.

 

This knuckle boom crane also incorporates the IoC (Internet of Cranes) system, which provides real-time diagnostics, online monitoring, and remote troubleshooting. For the client, this means more direct oversight of the equipment and faster technical support.

 

 

With a lifting capacity of 103 tonne-meters (tm), continuous rotation, and extended reach provided by the L436 jib, the Fassi F1250R Techno enables Metalúrgicas Martínez e Hijos to handle and position large metal structures and components—whether at construction sites or within their own facilities. The V28 winch, the ACF (Automatic Crane Folding) system, and a removable/interchangeable body configuration further expand the vehicle’s versatility for a wide range of tasks. The unit is mounted on a MAN TGS 35.520 8x4.

 

 

The crane configuration was defined in collaboration with the client, based on their specific operations and work requirements.
