WE EQUIP FERRICOS SANCHEZ WITH A TAJFUN LIV RECYCLING CRANE

Férricos Sánchez, S.L., a company specializing in the management and recovery of ferrous and non-ferrous metal waste, has added a Tajfun LIV L170 Z.96 recycling crane to its fleet.

The LIV L170 Z.96 scrap metal crane is one of the leading models in the segment of folding cranes for recycling and forestry use. With a 9.56-meter boom length in its folding version, double slewing cylinder, and double distributor, this model stands out for its speed of movement and versatility in handling scrap metal, iron, and other recyclable materials.

The delivered equipment incorporates a high-level technical configuration: two hydraulic extensions with a reach of 9.60 meters, a dual hydraulic circuit for the rotator and attachment, and double rack and pinion steering in an oil bath, guaranteeing precision and durability in intensive work cycles. The 6-function DX6 valves ensure efficient hydraulic management, while the 5,010 mm extendable hydraulic stabilizers provide a solid support base for working with heavy loads.

Also noteworthy is the integration of two additional hydraulic functions inside the extension—a design solution that protects the hoses and improves the system's lifespan—along with a neutral position on the rocker arm and an ergonomic column seat with two cross-shaped levers and two pedals, facilitating complete operator control with reduced fatigue. The hydraulic stabilizer valve on the seat and the two LED lights on the secondary arm complete the equipment, designed for both safety and operation in low-light conditions.

The crane is ideal for mounting on 18 or 26-ton trucks, paired with hooklifts or tipper trucks, thus adapting to the logistical needs of the metal recycling sector.
