TRANSGRÚAS DELIVERS A SECOND DE ANGELIS 5S835 COUNTERWEIGHT PLATFORM TO GRÚAS NORTE, PRESENTED AT SMOPYC 2026

We continue to strengthen our collaboration with Grúas Norte with the delivery of a powerful De Angelis 5S835 counterweight platform. This equipment was one of the highlights of the Transgrúas stand at SMOPYC 2026 and, after its successful demonstration in Zaragoza, was transported to the client's facilities in Santiago de Compostela.

Exceptional Capacity and Performance

The De Angelis 5S835 stands out for its impressive lifting capacity of 83,500 kg. With dimensions of 12,400 mm long, 2,540 mm wide, and 1,530 mm high, this platform is designed to withstand exceptional loads with maximum safety.

Advanced Axle and Safety Technology

One of its main assets is the ROR brand 5-axle system, each axle capable of handling 12 tons. The first axle is self-steering and liftable, turning in the opposite direction to the last three, while the 3rd, 4th, and 5th axles are hydraulically steered with radio-controlled rotation, guaranteeing perfect maneuverability in confined spaces. The platform incorporates disc brakes with an EBS-E 4S/3M WABCO anti-lock braking system and a state-of-the-art R.S.S. anti-roll system that, using an accelerometer, evaluates lateral acceleration and intervenes with the brakes to restore balance.

Complete Equipment and European Homologation

The equipment includes a 3 kW electric pump, ROR air suspension, high-visibility LED lighting, access ladder, toolbox, and full European homologation.
