SMOPYC 2026 IS NOW HISTORY... AND WHAT A HISTORY!

From April 15th to 18th, Zaragoza once again became the epicenter of the machinery sector, and Transgrúas was there with one of the most special participations in its history.

More than 1,100 m² in the South Outdoor Area were packed with machinery, live demonstrations, and, above all, familiar faces. Because if SMOPYC has one thing that no screen can replicate, it's that energy of reuniting: clients, suppliers, friends in the industry... all together again. The atmosphere was simply unbeatable.

Our New Products Take Center Stage

The stand was a comprehensive showcase of our catalog: from the new Fassi F2350 Techno knuckle boom crane—the most powerful crane in the range—to the JMG electric pick & carry cranes of the new M Series, as well as Jekko TRX truck-mounted mini cranes, the CELA DT60 aerial work platform, Almac multi-loaders on tracks, Marrel hooklifts, Maxilift telescopic cranes, and much more. The demonstration area was constantly active, and the feedback from visitors was outstanding.

An award that fills us with pride

And if the trade fair was already special for everything we experienced, there was one moment that made it even more memorable: on April 15th, we received the Bronze Award at the SMOPYC 2026 Technical Innovation Competition in the Zaragoza Trade Fair Auditorium, thanks to the JMG M Series electric pick & carry cranes. This recognition was granted by an independent jury of renowned industry prestige, who especially valued the intelligent modularity concept of this range: different interchangeable arms that allow the machine to be adapted to a wide variety of applications without the need for multiple pieces of equipment. The machine adapts to the work, not the other way around.

Receiving this award at one of the most important events in the sector at the European level is a source of enormous satisfaction and an impetus to continue investing in efficient, versatile, and future-oriented lifting solutions. You can read all the details of the award here.

The party on Thursday: music, laughter, and good company

On Thursday afternoon, the 16th, our stand was transformed. Music, entertainment, and the best atmosphere in the industry made for a truly memorable reunion. It was one of those moments that stays with you, and we can only express our gratitude to everyone who came to share it with us.

Our suppliers, always present

One of the best parts of SMOPYC is reconnecting with the people behind each machine. During the trade fair, we welcomed our suppliers and partners: CELA, Maxilift, Marrel, Fassi, JMG, and Jekko. Our customers and visitors were able to discuss the most important innovations in their equipment with them firsthand. Thank you for visiting us!
