SMOPYC AWARDS JMG'S INNOVATION WITH BRONZE PRIZE

JMG M Series: modular innovation in electric cranes

We are very proud to have been recognized at the prestigious SMOPYC 2026 Technical Innovation Competition with the Bronze Prize in the Technical Innovations category, thanks to the presentation of the JMG M-Series electric pick & carry cranes.

The decision of the jury, made up of independent professionals of recognized prestige in the construction, public works, and mining sectors, was announced on March 18. The official awards ceremony will take place on April 15th at the Zaragoza Trade Fair Auditorium, during the 20th SMOPYC 2026 International Exhibition.

The JMG M Series impressed the jury with its intelligent modularity concept: the range allows the machine to be configured with different interchangeable arms—short boom, manual extension, forklift, or articulated jib—adapting to a wide variety of applications without requiring multiple pieces of equipment. This philosophy perfectly encapsulates the spirit of this range: the machine adapts to the work, not the other way around.

The MC 15.08 and MC 100.08 models, both 100% electric, also stand out for their extreme compactness. The MC 15.08 is the most compact crane ever manufactured by JMG in the 5-tonne category, measuring just 2.3 m long and 1.10 m wide, making it ideal for working in industrial corridors, workshops, and logistics centers. The MC 100.08, meanwhile, scales this same philosophy up to capacities of 15 tons.

This recognition at SMOPYC, one of the most important events in the sector at the European level, reaffirms Transgrúas' commitment to innovation and sustainability, and consolidates the company's dedication to efficient, versatile, and future-oriented lifting solutions.
