A De Angelis 3S590 G-LIGHT for Beitia Naturlanak.

Transgruas has delivered a De Angelis 3S590 G-LIGHT semi-trailer to Beitia Naturlanak S.L., a company specializing in sustainable forestry work. This addition strengthens the operational capacity of a company that works daily on opening and maintaining tracks, clearing vegetation, planting, pruning, and transforming forests, always adhering to environmental standards and collaborating with local communities.

 

An ultralight chassis designed for transporting heavy machinery on challenging terrain

 

The De Angelis 3S590 G-LIGHT is a low-profile semi-trailer designed to minimize tare weight—approximately 10,000 kg—and maximize payload: up to 49,000 kg. Its chassis belongs to the G-Light series, manufactured from high-strength Weldox and Domex (STRENX) steel, which combines structural rigidity with one of the lowest tare weights in its class. A torsion beam between the gooseneck and the loading platform absorbs torsional stresses on the road, guaranteeing stability even on the most challenging forest access routes.

 

The equipment integrates three German-made GIGANT steering axles—12 tons per axle—with fifth-wheel hydraulic steering in both forward and reverse. A green LED light on the front of the vehicle, visible from the cab, confirms to the driver that the automatic realignment has been completed correctly after manual maneuvers. The first axle is liftable with a traction help system: it allows the axle to be raised even under load to increase the tractor's traction, automatically lowering itself once the vehicle exceeds 20 km/h.

 

Complete Equipment for Autonomous Field Operations

 

The semi-trailer comes equipped with 4.00 m x 850 mm galvanized double rear ramps with a 50-ton capacity, hydraulically extendable up to 2,950 mm, with a 24V electro-hydraulic unit and independent control panel on each side. Telescopic spreaders extend the platform up to 3.00 m. The package is completed by a 4,800 kg CE-certified electric winch with 25 m of steel cable, certified hook, cable roller, and wireless remote control, as well as air suspension with silent blocks, an EBS electronic braking system, and a steerable fifth wheel with redundant dual hydraulic circuits.
