A MAXILIFT TELESCOPIC CRANE FOR THE FORESTRY SECTOR

An ML380 with jib delivered to Transgrúas Vitoria.

The forestry sector has a new ally for its lifting operations. At Transgrúas' facilities in Vitoria, the assembly of a Maxilift ML380.4 telescopic crane, equipped with a J2S jib, has recently been completed. This crane is designed to optimize the handling and positioning of construction elements in carpentry and timber structure projects.
 
The Maxilift crane, configured with four hydraulic extensions, offers exceptional versatility for the specific demands of these types of applications, where precision in load handling and reach are crucial factors. The equipment incorporates a radio control system that allows the operator to work with complete visibility and control from different positions on the construction site, significantly improving safety and efficiency during maneuvers.
 
One of the highlights of this installation is the jib equipped with two hydraulic outlets, which significantly expands working possibilities in both reach and height. This feature is especially valuable for loading and unloading logs, stacking timber, and handling products at various stages of the forestry processing.
 
The equipment configuration includes a hydraulic system compatible with either a power take-off (PTO) or an independent pump unit, ensuring optimal integration with the carrier vehicle. The project also included the professional dismantling of the previous crane, ensuring a smooth transition and minimizing equipment downtime.
