PEIMAR ADDS A CUSTOM-MOUNTED FASSI F485RA FOR INCREASED VERSATILITY AND PRODUCTIVITY

At Transgrúas, we have delivered a Fassi F485 articulated hydraulic crane with jib and basket to our client Peimar. This project reflects our approach to each installation: adapting the equipment to the actual work requirements to achieve maximum performance from day one.

 

Although it is the same crane model we have recently supplied to other clients, the configuration developed for Peimar is different. Each application requires specific solutions, and therefore, our technical department studies each project to design the most efficient assembly according to the type of work the vehicle will perform.

 

 

In this case, the Fassi crane was installed using a sandwich-type mounting, integrating it between the truck frame and the tipper body. This solution allows the full functionality of the tipper truck to be maintained without sacrificing a high-performance crane, resulting in a versatile unit capable of both lifting and material handling.

 

The configuration also incorporates quick-connect fittings for the hydraulic functions at the tip, facilitating accessory changes and reducing setup time before each job.

 

 

Another highlight of the assembly is the inclusion of a dedicated valve that allows the operator to select the operation of the jib or clamshell bucket from the remote control. Equipping the crane with a winch allows for easy use of both attachments, switching between them with a single button and without any loss of operational capability.

 

The unit also incorporates the Fassi FSC/SP stability system, which automatically adapts the crane's performance based on the stabilizer position, ensuring safe operation and maximum utilization of available capacity.

 

This project underscores the importance of designing each assembly according to the customer's specific application. Beyond the crane's capacity, the integration of specific solutions simplifies maneuvers, optimizes operations, and transforms the whole into a more efficient tool for daily work.
