FIRST CELA ESSENTIAL AERIAL PLATFORM IN SPAIN

We have delivered a GX 24P unit in Galicia.

On Tuesday, October 20th, we delivered the first aerial platform from Cela’s "Essential" range in Spain. The unit—a Cela Essential GX 24P, a double-pantograph platform with a 24-meter working height—is now part of the fleet belonging to Primos Canalones, S.L., based in A Coruña.

Primos Canalones specializes in the installation of gutters and downspouts, the bending and installation of sheet metal, and the construction of vinyl facades with a wood-grain finish. These tasks involve working at heights and on building facades, where the platform provides a safe and stable means to access the work area while carrying necessary materials and tools.

A new range for the Spanish market

The "Essential" range is a product line developed by Cela from the ground up, designed primarily for the rental sector. We introduced it in Spain at the ANAPAT 2026 National Convention—also held in A Coruña—and it consists of four models: two telescopic units (18 and 20 meters) and two double-pantograph units (20 and 24 meters), all mounted on Iveco chassis and equipped with a "comfort pack."

The range features a fixed configuration that includes essential equipment as standard:

Automatic platform stowing (folding).
Automatic stabilizer leveling, capable of operating on slopes of up to 5°.
A 300 kg capacity basket equipped with water, electrical, and air outlets.
A side-mounted basket design that can rest on the ground, facilitating operator access and the loading of materials.
Cela System 4.0 (IPERCELA) telemetry for remote monitoring, geolocation, alarm management, and preventive maintenance.

Delivery and training at the client’s facilities

For the commissioning process, our sales representative and our after-sales technician traveled to A Coruña. In addition to delivering the equipment, they trained the staff at Primos Canalones on how to operate the platform, its safety systems, and the use of telemetry.

This level of support is part of the service we provide with every piece of equipment: guidance on selection, delivery to your location, and ongoing technical support—available through our workshops in Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, and Vitoria, as well as our network of 24 dealerships across the country.
