The transport entity of the metropolitan area of Barcelona incorporates a minipicker to their depot in Badalona
The minipicker or mini loader of Jekko, is a self-propelled electric crane pick & carry that allows lifting loads and moving them in a suspended manner within the working site. It is powered by battery, and is totally remote-controlled. It is especially suitable for working in warehouses or hard to reach spaces where it is necessary to move heavy loads through doors. In this case the loader is intended to work inside the workshop where they do the maintenance of buses in the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona, to help in the loading of heavy components of their vehicles. In this case, the loader has been equipped with specially long forks (1.4 m long), for the load needs of the customer. The boom has a maximum height of 3.5 m. and the maximum load is 2 tn.
The delivery took place on March 18th with specific training in its use.
