Meet our engineering staff: they take care of approving the installations, bodybuilindg and vehicle transformations we carry out for our customers
The last step in the installation or transformation of any kind that we carry out in Transgrúas is to legalize that transformation. The concept of "legalization" is very broad (almost abstract if it is not put in context), because we have such a wide product portfolio, with disparate equipment such as: truck cranes, special transport semi-trailers, aerial platforms or chippers forestry, which turns the work of our engineers into almost a daily challenge;).
It is important to say this because the work of Jorge (our engineer responsible for the department) and Daniel is complex and exciting: as is the last step prior to the delivery of the equipment, the word "hurry" is part of your daily vocabulary.
But, in reality and for practical purposes, what do Jorge and Daniel do for our clients? In this post we summarize it.
At the outset, there is a pre-sale work, in which a pre-study is made with a calculation of loads and dimensions of the vehicle, and a subsequent work at the end of the assembly of measurements and final weights, request for safety certificates to truck manufacturers, processing in ITV to get technical data sheet, registration process ...
They are also responsible for the certification of cranes with a basket according to EN 280, certificates of compliance with standard 1215 and issuance of certificates of conformity of production, issuance of CE certificates for new equipment or equipment that are already on the market and customers They request for different reasons.
Currently 3D designs are being implemented that help us when it comes to assembling and giving greater quality to the customer, as well as a much more real vision of the final product.
We appreciate the dedication and professionalism of Jorge and Dani in this crucial department within the Transgruas organization.
