Thanks to our Oxy-fuel machine we can customize assembly and bodywork parts of the machines we deliver
In Transgrúas we invest in the technology necessary to give the greatest added value to the process of assembling equipment and manufacturing of bodies.
Today we are talking about OXY-FUEL technology, which is very briefly a very thick sheet steel cutting technique. In our workshop, we have a robotic oxyfuel machine with a software program in which we introduce the design of the part we want to achieve, we place the steel part in its support and the cutting torch, cuts the part thoroughly according to the design, leaving parts ready to weld. The oxyfuel process consists of two stages: in the first stage, the steel is heated to a high temperature (900 ° C) with the flame produced by oxygen and a combustible gas; in the second, a stream of oxygen cuts through the metal and removes the iron oxides produced. In this process a combustible gas is used (acetylene, hydrogen, propane ...), which produces a flame to heat the material, while oxygen must always be used as an oxidizing gas in order to cause the oxidation necessary for the process of cutting.
