THE REMOTE CONTROL WILL MAKE THE DISTANCE MANEUVERS POSSIBLE

Fassi continues to innovate: they have developed the operation of a crane with a distance remote control.

It is a technologycal development project done by investigators and scientists from Fassi, promoted by the JOiiNT Lab (the robotic lab created in the technological park Kilometro Rosso from which Fassi is Champion company: they both contribute economically and actively with personnel to the JOiiNT Lab).

This project will make it possible to control the movement and the crane operations at hundreds of kilometres. This technology will revolutionize the way maneuvers are done and, in addition, it opens new horizons in the sector. The immediate reactivity of the joysticks and the total visual immersion, allow the operators to control the kneckle boom crane as they were next to it. 

Fassi estimates that this innovative profect could be a reality on the next months, allowing a precise and safe remote control of the cranes. All this will mean a bigger automation on the works, specially on this places with dangerous conditions or with difficult access.
