This new mini crane features the already proven technology of the recent models presented: the SPX 532 and SPX 1280
The Jekko SPX650 features a 1.2 ton 3 hydraulic extension jib. of load power and a 2 ton boom with a reach of 23.5 m high. As in the case of its younger sister SPX532, the boom can be folded on the floor or on the column, to allow the operator to work with the main arm, or hooked and bent under the main arm to be able to work with the boom without need for installation.
This minicrane on tracks includes the same stabilization system of the older model SPX 1280 recently presented: depending on the opening angle, extension of the stabilizers and the counterweight that is mounted, the installed software can determine in real time the load power in a set point, a feature that offers unlimited operational settings. The stabilizers have a double extension for a very small minimum stabilization area of 2.9 x 2.9 m (the maximum area is 4.5 x 4.5 m). From the SPX1280, the new SPX650 also inherits the sophisticated hydraulic system that makes the crane movements smooth and precise and allows you to work with four functions at once. All the functions and movements of the crane and its accessories can be controlled directly from a radio remote control with software developed internally by Jekko and an intuitive user interface.
The SPX650,
which will be delivered from the second half of 2020, will be immediately available in the lithium battery version, and from 2021 it can also be configured in the version with a diesel engine combined with a single-phase or three-phase electric motor.
In the words of Alberto Franceschini, Jekko's export manager, "the SPX 650 aims to further expand our range of mini cranes, filling the gap between the SPX532 and SPX1280 models in terms of maximum lifting capacity."
"It is a new bet from Jekko, but the more than positive results obtained with the SPX532 and SPX1280 models confirm that the solutions proposed so far have satisfied the needs of our customers: versatility, high performance in compact dimensions and small stabilization areas and ease of use, not to mention the growing commitment of the company to the environment, which we see here reflected in the use of lithium batteries. In this project, we have concentrated the best of the technology developed so far, and we have improved it, all without neglecting the design or, of course, the quality of the materials.
