EXTENDABLE TRACKS ON JEKKO CRAWLER MINI CRANES
We explain the configuration and design of the chassis of the small range of mini crawler crawler Jekko, which allows access to the crane through standard doors
In order to develop a range of cranes suitable for access by door widths of 72 cm, Jekko developed a chassis common to the small range of mini cranes (up to the new SPX429), which offer two features highly valued by users:
1) The crawler chassis is extensible horizontally, to allow greater or lesser stabilization depending on the width of the chassis that can thus access narrow areas, but still maintain the stability of the whole. The chain extension is hydraulic.
2) The rotating crown is mounted on the chassis in a way that allows the independent rotation of the crane turret with respect to the chassis. That is, the crane has an independent rotation to the rotation of the chassis, allowing optimum maneuverability and performance of the crane in its workplace.
