A custom-built machinery carrier for civil engineering and heavy transport

Transgrúas has delivered a new machinery carrier to Construccions Pere Miquel, a Girona-based company with over 40 years of experience in construction, excavation, transport, and auxiliary services for civil engineering projects. The project was developed entirely to meet the client's daily heavy machinery transport needs.

Reinforced design to maximize safety, strength, and durability

The new machinery carrier platform measures 7,800 x 2,550 mm and has 3-meter ramps. It features a floor and ramps made of perforated sheet metal to improve grip and safety during loading maneuvers. It also has reinforced interior sides and a loading bridge designed to withstand intensive work and heavy machinery.

The 15-ton hydraulic ramp ensures safe and efficient loading.

One of the most outstanding features of this body is its reinforced, folding rear ramp, constructed of non-slip sheet metal and operated by two hydraulic cylinders. With a load capacity of up to 15 tons and an approximate incline of 10º–12º, it allows for quick, safe, and stable loading and unloading of machinery.

High-quality finishes and equipment designed for daily work.

The body has undergone a complete shot blasting process, double anti-corrosion primer, and a final finish in RAL 1028 yellow, guaranteeing high corrosion protection and a fully customized aesthetic for the client. The package is completed with a 5,400 kg hydraulic winch with remote control, fixed rear stabilizers, front work lights, a toolbox, and a fire extinguisher box.
