JEKKO MPK06.2 GLASS ROBOT FOR CRISTALERÍA BELLO

We have delivered a Jekko MPK06.2 glass robot to Cristalería Bello, a company based in Abegondo (A Coruña) that has specialized in the manufacturing and installation of custom glass for over 25 years. Our sales representative, Carlos de la Fuente, and our after-sales technician, Pere Lloreda, traveled to the client’s premises to carry out the delivery and provide training on the equipment.

 

 

The Jekko MPK06.2 is a battery-powered electric mini-lifter equipped with a vacuum system for handling and installing glass. It has a maximum capacity of 600 kg, a maximum lifting height of 3.6 m, and a maximum reach of 1.7 m, featuring two electrically extendable booms.

 

Its "pick & carry" function allows for movement while a load is suspended. Measuring 2290 x 845 x 1450 mm and equipped with four all-terrain tires, it is capable of operating on construction sites and over uneven ground.

 

 

We have equipped the unit with the Jekko JVM06EV vacuum manipulator. It features a 600 kg capacity, four suction cups, and electric rotation, allowing the glass to be oriented during installation without needing to move the machine itself.

 

 

With the MPK06.2, Cristalería Bello can handle and install large-format items—such as storefronts, commercial facades, partitions, and mirrors—with fewer personnel and without the need for manual effort to support the glass. Its battery-powered operation allows for emission-free work inside commercial spaces and residential properties. The electric rotation of the column and the JVM06EV manipulator facilitates the fine-tuning of glass into its final position, while the wired remote control allows the operator to manage the maneuver from right next to the load. Lateral stabilizers and a detachable counterweight adapt the machine to any workspace, and the DTC diagnostic system streamlines the identification of any issues.

 

 

During delivery, we commissioned the machine and provided training for the operators at the Cristalería Bello facility, ensuring they could begin working with the MPK06.2 from day one. Our after-sales service remains available to the client for maintenance and technical support.
