WE DELIVER THE INNOVATIVE JEKKO MPK10 GLASS ROBOT TO KAUVE FACHADAS

Kauve improves efficiency and safety with this addition.

We recently delivered the Jekko MPK10.2 glass robot to KAUVE FACHADAS S.L., a company specializing in the facade sector based in the Basque Country.

This acquisition represents a significant step in the client company's technological modernization, which seeks to optimize its glass installation processes on large-scale projects.

A team designed for the most demanding challenges

The Jekko MPK10.2 glass robot is a state-of-the-art glass robot that combines the versatility of a mini-picker with the precision required for glass handling. Weighing 1,275 kg and measuring 2280 x 1500 x 955 mm in compact dimensions, this device is specifically designed to work in hard-to-reach spaces where conventional cranes cannot operate.

Among its most notable features are:

  • Specialized suction cup system for safe glass handling with a capacity of 990 kg
  • 6 electrically rotating suction cups that allow for precise positioning
  • Hybrid operation with a 1,200W electric motor and battery system for indoor work
  • Pick & Carry system that allows for simultaneous lifting and transport of materials
  • Radio remote control for greater operator safety
  • Hydraulic extensions and lateral stabilizers for maximum stability

Practical application in emblematic projects

The investment by KAUVE FACHADAS S.L. is already yielding tangible results. Among the first projects where the new glass robot has been used is its participation in the construction of the headquarters of the Historical Archive of Bizkaia in Bilbao, a project that requires the utmost precision and care due to the heritage importance of the building.

"Seeing our equipment at work on a project as important as the Historical Archive of Bizkaia is very gratifying," comments Juan Ruiz, Commercial Advisor at Transgrúas. "The Jekko MPK10 has proven to be the perfect solution for jobs that demand precision, safety, and efficiency in complex spaces."

Competitive advantages for the façade sector

The incorporation of this glass robot allows KAUVE FACHADAS S.L. to offer its clients:

Increased safety: It significantly reduces the occupational risks associated with the manual handling of large-format glass.

Operational efficiency: The ability to work in confined spaces and its remote control system optimize installation times.

Versatility: Its compact design makes it ideal for work in shopping centers, residential buildings, underground parking garages, and urban spaces with limited access.

Sustainability: The electric motor allows for emission-free indoor work, complying with the most stringent environmental regulations.
