In the past months this component has undergone a technological evolution to optimize its performances in connection with Fassi cranes and the vehicles on which cranes are installed. The resulst is a new oil cooler with electronic control of fan speed on the crane range from the model F245A.2 to the model F1950RA.2 as well as on the AS range.
The main technical/working features of the new oil cooler are:
· Oil cooler equipped with brushless motor having fully integrated motor control electronics.
· Soft-start function enabling to eliminate the peaks of current during the ignition of the oil cooler because the fan slowly reaches the maximum speed and thus protecting the integrity of the vehicle battery.
· The speed of the fan is directly proportional to temperature variations.
· The temperature for the oil cooler start is always set-up through program parameters, but
when the oil temperature is lower than 20°C the oil cooler doesn’t work.
· Automatic self-cleaning function.
· By-pass valve to drain off the oil directly to the tank in case of high levels of counter-pressure in the return line; it is integrated in the oil cooler.
· High protection systems against overvoltage, undervoltage, overload, over-temperature, undertemperature, inverse polarity and blocked rotor, controlled by the control electronics integrated in the motor.
